What does this mean?
Imagine that feeling when you browse through old family photos, where you sense that you can feel that special moment frozen in time? Well, that's exactly what I want to achieve and why I believe in photography as a medium.
I also believe that everyone is photogenic when relaxed and truly immersed in their depths and emotions. That includes you too. When you focus on yourself or the people who stand in front of the lens with you, I disappear, the world disappears, and the camera disappears. It's just you and your relationships with your loved ones, and that's what I want to capture.
Therefore, my main goal is to create a safe place and an intimate atmosphere for you to feel relaxed, open up, and surrender to the moment. I want both you and I, to lose track of time during the session, to laugh, shed a tear if needed, to remember the moment and to be present. I firmly believe that in those moments, the most beautiful aspects of photography emerge.
This means that, although I'll guide you to some extent, I won't be adjusting every movement, hand or head position, your gaze, or expression… I believe there's no one-size-fits-all pose, and that way, we preserve the individuality and uniqueness of each person/couple/family.
I'm not the photographer who notices every strand out of place. But I am the photographer who observes how you feel, what you're thinking, how you hold hands with your loved one, and how you rejoice and play with your family.
So, if you're someone unafraid to feel, be seen, be vulnerable, and you appreciate an intimate, relaxed atmosphere where we capture seemingly ordinary moments that are memorable, feel free to reach out.
Fun facts
- If I had to choose to eat only one thing for the rest of my life, it would be watermelon.
- Every summer, I make sure to know when I've had my last watermelon and my last swim in the sea so I can bid them farewell.
- I can't stand the cold; my toes are always cold.
- But I love skiing.
- The speed on the ski slope scares me, yet I have no problem with skydiving and bungee jumping.
- Strength training is a struggle for me, but I can put both legs behind my head.
- I'm proud of my curls, even though I spent my entire high school straightening my hair.
- At the age of 26, I discovered two important things: a camera and camping.
- Today, camping is the most common way I travel.
- The camera has changed my life, focus, lifestyle, and the way I perceive the world.
- And today, I proudly present myself as a psychologist with a camera.
- Capturing emotions is one of my favorite things in the world.
